This year I participated in a Charity Home Tour called Homes For The Holidays, with proceeds going to the The Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham and .

The fundraiser invites designers to decorate a home for Christmas, which people can then come and tour for inspiration to decorate their own homes.

I loved getting in to the festive spirit and filling this home with natural inspired elements. Some of my favourite pieces were the personalized linen calligraphy napkins and large calligraphy poster board that I commissioned the talented Lisa from Post Calligraphy. We also had adorable prints from SS Print shop scattered all over the house.

The tour also gave me a chance to connect with an old friend, now talented photographer Michelle Peek, who came and snapped up some beautiful shots for me.

December 1st! Christmas is coming... 24 days to be exact.

And 5ive 5ifteen Photography stopped by this week for a visit and they captured some of our festive wares (thanks for coming and for the donuts gentlemen!)

I LOVE this season. And love when we get to deck the shop out in holiday decor. This year we especially love the mini myrtle topiary, our various cloches, vintage inspired antlers, and the adorable SS PRINT SHOP prints.

I love making new friends, and I love when friends introduce me to other friends. That's how I met Becca, through my dear friend Marie. The two of them came in for a visit early in the summer and we chatted over tea about our mutual love of ribbon! (Which of course we then used to adorn her beautiful bouquet on her wedding day, loads of long flowing dreamy strands of it)

It was a pleasure to do the flowers for Becca & Darrin's wedding. The cherry on top... having another sweet friend turn out to be their wedding photographer! (Stunning job Christine) I love what a small world it can be.

I am SO excited to finally be able to share these gorgeous photos by Rebecca Amber with you all! Not only because this may be one of my favourite weddings, but also because it was featured here on Martha Stewart Weddings last week! Such an accomplishment for us, and one that I am so proud of!

Last Thanksgiving, on a crisp October Saturday Natalie and Jeff tied the knot in one of the most beautiful weddings we have ever been a part of. The process leading up to wedding was so much fun. I loved working with Natalie and Jeff and their ever so talented stylist and designer behind it all, Ashley of Spread Love Events. Their vision and inspiration was so beautiful and personal... making it come to life was such a joy.

A year later I'm still crazy for this wedding and don't tire of looking at the beautiful photos. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! xo
